The Ruminant Well-being Award will be granted at the World Buiatrics Congress (3-8 July 2016, Dublin). The award will be offered to a practicing veterinarian, a researcher or a graduate student in veterinary or (animal) science to recognize his/her achievements in advancing the well-being of ruminants. By doing so, the WAB and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health hope to raise public awareness of the important role veterinarians play in overseeing and improving ruminant well-being in agriculture.
